In terms of signal transduction, given that dTRAF2 is insignificant in response to bacterial infection (22), but LvTRAF6 responds to bacterial infection and induction of AMPs (42), we were not surprised to find a TRAF6-TAK1-TAB2 complex in shrimp, which has not yet been found in Drosophila. The gene discussed is TAB2; the disease is bacterial infectious disease.
