TRAF6 and bacterial infectious disease: In summary, during V. parahaemolyticus infection, LvToll1/2/3/5/9 recognized LPS and recruited the TRAF6-TAB2-TAK1 complex via the MyD88-Tube-Pelle cascade, leading to the activation of LvDorsal-L, which plays a major antibacterial role in L. vannamei via the induction of LvCrustin1, implying that shrimp may fight bacterial infection via the Toll-TRAF6/TAB2/TAK1-Dorsal pathway (Figure 8).
