One of the main sources of (high-branched) antennary fucosylated N-glycans in serum is AGP [39], an acute-phase protein primarily synthesized in hepatocytes [40] and extrahepatically by carcinoma cells, especially in its α1,3-antennary fucosylated form [41] that we observed here to be inversely associated with ICI response. The gene discussed is ATP5MK; the disease is carcinoma.
