Patients with prediabetes had lower levels of NT-pro-BNP (1,134.9 ± 3106.4 vs. 1,542.4 ± 4120.1, p < 0.001) but a lower mean LVEF (51.4 ± 3.8 vs. 51.8 ± 5.4, p < 0.001) and higher mean LVM (210.4 ± 26.3 vs. 200.9 ± 23.7, p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and prediabetes syndrome.
