F8 and hemophilia A: [31] evaluated the sensitivity of the Clot Formation and Lysis (CloFAL) global assay for FVIII deficiency and found that people with severe hemophilia A showed considerable heterogeneity in CloFAL waveforms despite a similarly decreased coagulation index: the CloFAL assay showed a marked increase in coagulability 30 minutes following FVIII infusion, although in each case, the profile of coagulative response to FVIII infusion determined by the CloFAL assay coagulation index differed qualitatively from that measured by FVIII activity.
