Interestingly, the dysconnectivity of PSMA with the default mode network and the visual network may be associated with cognitive decline and visual hallucination (Tessitore et al., 2012; Zarkali et al., 2020), suggesting that the imbalanced network coupling of both motor and non-motor aspect that was influenced by the pathophysiology of parkinsonism.
