The patients with postoperative sepsis showed significant lower levels of hematocrit (HCT), platelets (PLT), hemoglobin (HGB) and albumin (ALB), as well as higher levels of white blood cell count (WBC), aspartate amino transferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), indirect bilirubin (IBIL), direct bilirubin (DBILI), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and international normalized ratio (INR) (all p < .05) than those without sepsis.
