Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that T stage (P = 0.006, hazard ratio [HR] 1.779, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.178-2.286), N stage (P = 0.010, HR 2.180, 95% CI: 1.204-3.945), curative outcome (P < 0.001, HR 0.237, 95% CI: 0.168-0.336) and high TXN expression (P = 0.018, HR 1.403, 95% CI: 1.061-1.855) were independent risk factors for prognosis in patients with lung cancer (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene TXN and lung cancer.
