The levels of expression of five genes, CASP3, CAT, TXN, GSR, and HSPA4, differed significantly in lung tumor and normal lung tissue samples in each GSE dataset (P < 0.05) (Supplemental Figure 1), whereas KM survival analysis found that the levels of four genes, IL-6, CYCS, TXN, and BCL2 correlated significantly with prognosis in patients with lung cancer (Supplemental Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and lung carcinoma.
