Several preclinical studies using prostate cancer cell lines, PDX models, and GEM models demonstrated that CHD1 loss leads to hypersensitivity to ionizing radiation (IR), PARP inhibition, and DNA-damaging agents, such as mitomycin C, carboplatin, irinotecan, and camptothecin (21, 24, 88–90). The gene discussed is CHD1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
