CD8A and neoplasm: The percentages of CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes and CD4+ helper T lymphocytes in tumors were observed to be much higher in Nano-CD & αPD-1 (~39% or ~14%) and Nano-CD (~37% or ~10%) groups than that in the other groups (Nano-C: ~17% or ~6%, Nano-dCas9: ~16% or ~7% and Saline: ~10% or ~5%), indicating that Nano-CD could enhance anti-tumor cellular immunity by inducing pyroptosis via cooperation of cisplatin and self-supply GSDME protein (Fig. 5d, e).
