Growing evidence shows that ERK/MAPK and JNK/MAPK signaling dysregulation causes numerous alterations in gene expressions involved in cell cycle, migration, differentiation, and cancer stem cell; all of these are important for NSCLC and HGSOC pathogenesis and treatment resistance [20,21,22,23,24,25,26]. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
