As previously mentioned, we discovered that the degrees of the inflammatory factors TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β were clearly increased in the serum and lung tissues of ALI mice, suggesting severe inflammatory lung responses, but under the adjustment of SSA, SSb1, SSb2, and SSD, these rising trends were restrained, indicating that SSA, SSb1, SSb2, and SSD can alleviate lung damage through anti-inflammatory actions. Here, IL6 is linked to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
