As an illustration, a patient diagnosed with stage II cancer (39 points), with cervical stromal invasion (50 points), cervical uterine junction invasion (28 points), lymph vascular space invasion (77 points), positive lymph node metastasis (13 points) and CgA 2+ (32 points) will have corresponding 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-year recurrence-free survival rates of 87%, 79%, 69% and 52%, respectively (the probability of recurrence in 1, 2, 3 and 5 years was 13%, 21%, 31% and 48%). This evidence concerns the gene CGA and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
