SERPINC1 and essential thrombocythemia: We think that there is considerable platelet activation in ET patients compared to healthy participants, which not only participates in the adhesion and aggregation of platelets to endothelial cells, increasing thrombosis and encouraging coagulation, but also binds to leukocytes, mediates thrombosis, stimulates leukocytes, and encourages the release of a variety of inflammatory substances, which, in turn, leads to a decrease in AT-III and inhibits anticoagulation.
