CRP and juvenile polyposis syndrome: As a comparison, the AUC of plasmatic CRP, a clinically established biomarker of PJI, was 0.80 (95%IC, 0.72–0.88, p < 0.0001), with a sensitivity of 62.26% and a specificity of 80% (according with EBJIS), or 0.81 (95%IC, 0.72–0.89, p < 0.0001), with a sensitivity of 71.43% and a specificity of 75.27% (according with MSIS) (Table 5 and Figure S2).
