Compared with patients without AF, those with AF were more likely to be older; female; not current smokers; to have CAD and CHF; to have higher eNIHSS scores and a higher mean HR; to have lower mean SPB and DBP; to have lower BMI; lower frequency of diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia; higher baseline creatinine levels; and lower baseline total cholesterol, triglyceride, and alanine aminotransferase levels.
