Sex distribution, age, BMI, waist:hip ratio and the proportion of patients with T2D were comparable between groups, while the glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), fasting plasma glucose (FPG), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels and the prevalence of hypertension were higher in the Ob-HTG group.
