Over-expression of Wrap53 has been associated with several types of tumors, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) [94,95], development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) [96], or tumor progression in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [97].
