The interactions between the glucocorticoid receptor nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 1 (NR3C1) and the HH pathway [228] are of particular interest given that glucocorticoids (GCs) are a cornerstone of T-ALL therapy and a poor response to prednisone is an early marker of unfavorable outcome in T-ALL patients [229]. The gene discussed is NR3C1; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
