Nuclear transcription factor Y alpha (NF-YA) is found as coexpressed with Cyclin E. Therefore, it was further evaluated in gastric cancer cell lines, and it was observed that NF-YA increases the Cyclin E transcription in gastric cancer to assist gastric cancer progression, and this unique signaling axis can be targeted for therapy as well [158]. The gene discussed is NFYA; the disease is gastric cancer.
