SOCS proteins are associated with neuronal diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), ischemic stroke (IS), and traumatic brain injury (TBI) [23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32]. This evidence concerns the gene CISH and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
