In agreement with scientific literature, we found a high concordance between elevated levels of G-17, low levels of PGI, and the histological report of CAG; moreover, it is well known that the use of anti-HP IgG in combination with high levels of PGII allows to discriminate current infections from previous infections with high sensitivity (95%) and good specificity (83%) [14,18,19,25,26,27]. This evidence concerns the gene HP and infection.
