Moreover, two largely non-overlapping groups among these 106 breast tumors emerged from the hourglass shape of the strip charts (Figure 2a), one with moderate TERT overexpression (up to ≈25-fold compared to controls; n = 49; 46%) and the other with high-level overexpression (≈32- to 810-fold compared to controls; n = 57; 54%).
