In our study, for the first approach, the biomarkers’ and parameters’ impact on the best-performing model’s (RF classifier) output across test instances for independent vs. non-independent prediction classes, with an accuracy of 88.57%, revealed that NIHSS upon admission, the development of respiratory infection, age, CRP levels upon admission, stroke localization based on blood supply, systolic blood pressure levels upon admission and intubation show a high and positive impact on the pure functional outcome for post-stroke patients. Here, CRP is linked to respiratory tract infectious disorder.
