Analysis of carbohydrate metabolism demonstrated that women with PCOS had higher values than controls for the following: glycated hemoglobin; OGTT (glucose measurements at 30 min, and 60 min); and insulin tolerance test (insulin at 0 min (fasting), 60 min, and 120 min); HOMAIR and Matsuda index.
