With these inadequacies in mind, the current study was designed to investigate the potential utility of radiomic features extracted from different tumor habitats as visible on widely available and universally acquired preoperative post-contrast T1 weighted and T2-FLAIR images in differentiating IDH-mutant grade 4 astrocytomas from IDH-wild-type GBMs. The gene discussed is IDH1; the disease is astrocytoma (excluding glioblastoma).
