Preclinical NSCLC data demonstrate that when TTFields treatment is used concomitantly with anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (anti-PD-1) and anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (anti-CTLA-4) immunotherapies, there is an augmented antitumor effect with infiltration of tumor leukocytes and reduced tumor volumes [52,58]. The gene discussed is CTLA4; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
