UBE2E2 (also called UbcH8) was first reported in 1997 and has been proposed to play a pathological role in various human diseases, including type 2 diabetes (T2D), rheumatic autoimmune disease, Parkinson’s disease, non-small cell lung cancer, hepatocellular adenoma and carcinoma [13–15]. Here, UBE2E2 is linked to carcinoma.
