It has become clear that p53 is widely involved not only in cancer but also in the cellular response to various external factors (cellular stress) such as hypoxia, viral infection, metabolic stress, endoplasmic reticulum stress and oxidative stress [3–5] through its function as transcription factor by cell cycle arrest, DNA repair, alteration of metabolic pathway, antioxidant action, anti-angiogenesis, autophagy, aging and apoptosis.
