This real-world analysis of a large and nationwide eBC patient population with a long-term follow-up supports that the survival benefit of achieving pCR following neoadjuvant therapy among eBC patients, which has been mainly reported for trial settings (2), can be extended to real-world practice, especially for HER2+ and TNBC patients with clinically positive lymph node status, who represent high risk cases of tumor recurrence with unmet need for novel treatments. Here, ERBB2 is linked to neoplasm.
