These conditions led to a PML::RARA protein increase that was approximately five-fold greater than levels detected in NB4 cells, a line with a constitutive PML::RARA rearrangement, and 1.4 to 2.5-fold higher than levels detected in three primary APL patients (Supplementary Fig. 1a). This evidence concerns the gene RARA and acute promyelocytic leukemia.
