ACE and Hypertension: With comparable levels of blood pressure among the three groups, the usage rate of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) or angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB) in the diabetic population was the highest, while the usage rates of dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers (DHP-CCB) and thiazide-like diuretics were comparable in those three groups, suggesting the highest degree of hypertension in the T2DM group.
