To confirm that PI4K2A drives endocytic trafficking and to identify a biological role for PI4K2A-dependent endocytic trafficking in lung cancer, we identified PI4K2A-associated cell-surface receptors in our TurboID proximity ligation assays (Supplemental Table 1) and then assessed how PI4K2A influences the intracellular fates of those receptors. This evidence concerns the gene CD177 and lung carcinoma.
