We find that a 15-min treatment of neuroblastoma cells with 10 μM latrunculin A is sufficient to effectively deplete overall levels of F-actin based on phalloidin staining (Figure 4A), and that latrunculin A-mediated F-actin destabilization induces shallow invaginations of the lamin nucleoskeleton (Figure 4B). The gene discussed is LMNA; the disease is neuroblastoma.
