In comparison, in the lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549, which is insensitive to TRAIL treatment (Fig. 3D), removal of DR4 and DR5 (Fig. S2F) showed essential inhibition of cell death triggered by Thapsigargin, that relied mostly on DR5 and the DR4/5 together (Fig. 3D). The gene discussed is TNFSF10; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
