Our results are consistent with a noncontrolled study in rheumatoid arthritis of anti-TNF-α therapy, which demonstrated a reduction in vascular inflammation on FDG PET imaging after 8 weeks of treatment.32 They are also consistent with an observational cohort from Kim et al. evaluating the anti-inflammatory effect of 25 patients with PsO treated with Ustekinumab.33 Furthermore, an observational study from Dey et al. that evaluated a cohort of psoriasis patients being treated systemically had similar findings.34 Here, TNF is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
