(2012) report that atorvastatin and combined therapy had beneficial effects on high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), ICAM-1, tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα), interferon γ (IFNγ), and IL-2 serum concentrations, while ezetimibe monotherapy had no effect [47, 48].
