CYB5R3 and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis: At the same time, a large data set of mRNA bulk data from the Lung Tissue Research Consortium (Gene Expression Omnibus database accession number GSE47460) (24) did not present significant differences in the expression of NAD+-consuming enzymes (Supplemental Figure 1B) but a highly significant decrease in CYB5R3 expression in IPF when compared with healthy lungs (Supplemental Figure 1C).
