Herein, we report a case in which the PD-L1-negative ureteral metastasis detected after robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) for early clinical stage RCC progressed rapidly after ICI therapy, while the almost synchronously detected PD-L1-positive primary advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) with multiple lymph node metastases disappeared, with a sustained response, after ICI therapy. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and squamous cell lung carcinoma.
