GPT and fatty liver disease: As demonstrated in Table 1, participants in the top quartile of the CUN-BAE (Q4) presented with older age, higher waist circumference, higher BMI, higher levels of AST, ALT, GGT, FBG, DBP, SBP, TC, TGs, and HbA1c, a higher incidence of fatty liver and a higher percentage of smokers and drinkers compared with the other groups (Q1-Q3) (all P values < 0.001).
