CRP and type 2 diabetes mellitus: This real-world study of 2755 participants with T2DM who undergo PCI with DAPT with 5 years of follow-up showed that compared with patients with a lower level of CAR, those with a higher level of CAR was associated with an increased risk of long-term mortality including all-cause mortality and cardiac mortality; the prediction of CAR for all-cause mortality and cardiac mortality was superior to hs-CRP; the results remained consistent after propensity score matching.
