TIMER database analysis showed that TMEM200A was significantly more expressed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), head and neck squamous carcinoma (HNSC), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) and less expressed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), kidney chromophobe (KICH), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM) and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) compared to paraneoplastic tissues (Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene TMEM200A and cutaneous melanoma.
