METTL14 and cancer: These findings suggest that METTL14 may have a tumour suppressor function, as previously reported for other cancer types, including gastrointestinal and urological tract malignancies, and glioblastoma (Tao et al., 2020; Yang et al., 2020; Cai et al., 2021; Zhou et al., 2021; Fan et al., 2022).
