It was found that METTL3 (p < .0001) and WTAP (p < .01) expression were significantly higher in primary prostate adenocarcinoma patient samples compared with non-malignant prostate tissue, whereas METTL14 expression was significantly lower (p < .01) in tumour compared with non-malignant tissue (Figure 1A).
