Whilst some previous studies have indicated that METTL14 can have a tumour suppressor role in certain cancer contexts and types (Yang et al., 2020; Cai et al., 2021; Fan et al., 2022), the current study identified elevated METTL14 expression in PCa cell lines compared with the non-malignant control. This evidence concerns the gene METTL14 and posterior cortical atrophy.
