In this study, we found that the activation of CRHPVN neurons promoted cancer growth through the upregulation of HIF1α, Glut1, VEGFb, COX-2 and Arg1 and the downregulation of PGC1α in tumor cells, molecular events which are all directly associated with tumor progression, tumor metastasis and tumor genesis [34–37]. This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and cancer.
