MAPT and Alzheimer disease: We compared the two subtypes and assessed their stages with respect to clinical, genetic, and biomarker characteristics that are known to be associated with AD [i.e., Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), memory, executive function, language function, visuospatial function, apolipoprotein E ε4 allele (APOE ε4), CSF Aβ, total tau (t-tau), and phosphorylated tau (p-tau)].
