In the TB (n = 22) and SS control (n = 44) groups, ESRs were 79.6 ± 34.8 mm/h and 44.7 ± 31.2 mm/h, respectively (P < 0.05), whereas CRP levels were 18.5 mg/L (9.5, 27.8) and 1.0 mg/L (0.0, 6.0), respectively (P < 0.05). Here, CRP is linked to tuberculosis.
