BAD and cancer: Rajoka et al. [24] used the cell-free culture supernatant (CFCs) secreted by Lactobacillus isolated from breast milk to act on HeLa cells, and found that CFCs played an anti-cancer role by up regulating the expression of apoptosis genes BAX, BAD, Caspase3, Caspase8 and Caspase9 and down regulating the expression of BCl-2 gene.
