GALNT7 was 2.6 fold higher in Likert 3 patients that received a prostate cancer diagnosis compared to men given a ‘no cancer’ diagnosis (p = 0.0001), and GALNT7 was slightly more accurate than serum PSA at identifying men with prostate cancer (serum PSA: AUC = 0.69, urine GALNT7: AUC = 0.78) (Fig. 2F).
