MTHFR and breast carcinoma: Three recent meta-analyses, one comprising 75 studies with 31,315 cases and 35, 608 controls, the second comprising 39 studies with 19,260 cases and 26,364 controls, and the third comprising 67 studies with 23,440 cases and 27880 controls, showed no significant association between the C677T polymorphism of MTHFR and risk of breast cancer in Caucasian women, but not in Asian women [19, 20, 34] and mixed women population [34].
