To clarify vascular growth factor A (VEGF‐A) expression levels in breast cancer patients, we searched the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) sample database (http://ualcan.path.uab.edu/index.html) and observed that VEGF‐A expression levels in breast cancer patients were higher when compared with normal breast tissue (p < 0.01) (Figure 2a). This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and breast carcinoma.
