Here, we report that FAM117B competitively inhibited the binding of NRF2 and KEAP1 and activated the KEAP1/NRF2 signaling pathway by decreasing the ubiquitination degradation of NRF2, which in turn promoted the growth of gastric cancer cells and reduced the sensitivity of cells to chemotherapeutic drugs (Figure 10). Here, KEAP1 is linked to gastric cancer.
